Gotta Start Somewhere

(You might know how painful it is for an editor to use the nonword "gotta.")

It's only been a few weeks since I realized that the 20th anniversary of the beginning of our senior year is coming up. I'm reaching out to all graduates from the class of 1986 at Slidell High School. Let's plan a reunion.

I've been out of the loop for so long--and I'm sorry I didn't attend the 10-year reunion--so I don't know whom to contact. I know that other people have the authority to start the discussion, so if you can lead me to them, please drop me a line. Chris Bell? Karen Daniels? People who planned the 10th and want to do it again? People who attended the 10th and have advice?

If you just want to send me your contact information, that's enough. I will record your mailing and email addresses and send you details as we plan the event. It might be all that I contribute because I live in Chicago, but I want to contribute what I can.
