I Will Turn Your Face to Alabaster

Valerie once told me that it is almost impossible to find a photo of the entire family where Devon isn’t making some kind of face. I personally think that’s wonderful, but then again, I don’t see why Valerie hates her own hair so much that it took her five months to give me this photo for the blog. That’s Katy with the ice cream and Peyton next to Dad, Jerry. You also saw a picture of them last summer on the first day of school.

We will see most of this crew next weekend. I’m pretty sure that all the Griggslettes will be at the picnic, but we might miss Jerry altogether because of work demands. Valerie will be everywhere.
