Traditions I Can Trace Against the Child in Your Face

Two other people we missed last month were Missy B. and Mark P., both classmates from 86 who married each other. They live in Arizona now, and you know it’s not always easy to make the trip home. Believe me: it couldn’t have been any easier for Missy to endure Valerie’s begging and cajoling. I think that by the time June came around, Missy would answer the phone with, “You’re not calling again to pick on me, are you?”
